The Crooked Spine Bronze Sculpture

Sculpture by Rebecca Hawkins. The ‘Crooked Spine’ reflects the toil of water collection in communities not yet benefiting from Frank Water’s work. Before their involvement, villagers faced serious health issues due to increasing levels of fluoride in their water sources, affecting villagers’ bone density, teeth, and spines. Thanks to Frank Water’s work, the water quality has significantly improved and villagers either have centrally located water taps, or safe water taps in their homes.
