Rondel Dagger Battlefield Blunt

This battle field blunt rondel dagger is perfect for historical reenactment and Western Martial Arts sparring and drilling but is made to the usual Tod Cutler standards of durability, historical detail and appearance and is based of course, on classic 15th to early 16thC Rondel Daggers.

The diamond section and heavily fullered blade starts at 6.5mm (1/4”) thick at the hilt and tapers down to 3.5mm (3/16”) near the tip, with fully rounded edges and ‘point’.  The generous hexagonal handle is crafted is ash and the top and bottom guards are steel with some simple file work and a brass peen button.

The dagger comes with a double layer naturally tanned leather sheath fitted with a convenient belt loop and a decorated brass chape.  It may be a blunt, but it is still a lovely piece that will look great on your belt or in your fist.
