Bec de Corbin Medieval dragon war hammer – long version

Medieval war hammer or bec de corbin based on a piece in the Doges ‘ Palace in Venice and captured after a battle in the late 14thC.  This version has a longer haft than I usually fit making this a formidable two handed version – every knight should have one!

The head is cast in bronze and depicts a dragon and the tail and ‘fire’ are made in carbon steel and socketed and brazed into place.  The haft is in ash and linseed oiled.

This version does not come with a clip. It would be too long to hang from a belt.
