14-15thC Low status eating knife in Laburnum

This is a simple 14th or 15thC eating knife of scale tang construction, so very slightly higher status than the most basic knife that you could buy at the time. Countless numbers of eating knives were made looking like this.

It features a strong single edged blade and scale tang with box handle slabs and a red naturally tanned sheath with incised decoration to the front and rear.
