15thC Bauernwehr with horn handle and ring nagel

A mid status bauernwehr with black horn grip scales and hollow steel rivets. Heavily decorated bolsters and a nagel in the form of a filed ring and file work to the spine. The clip point blade features a partially sharpened false edge. This creates a striking look that would not be out of place on the hip of a merchant from 1450-1520.

Features a black double layer veg tan sheath with an incised and stamped decoration.
